Your own Anthropic key

1. Sign in to the Claude Console at platform.claude.com. It was formerly at console.anthropic.com.
2. Open the API keys page: platform.claude.com/settings/keys.
3. Select Create key, name it (for example “Amendary”), choose an expiry, and set Linked account.
4. Copy the key, which starts with sk-ant-. The Console shows it once.

Anthropic says a personal key stops working if its owner leaves the organization, and that a service account key is better for anything shared. For a team, prefer a service account key. If you set an expiry, put a reminder in your calendar. An expired key stops your checks until you replace it.

1. A workspace owner opens Settings, then Plan & billing, and finds Use your own Anthropic key.
2. Paste the key and select Check and save.
3. Amendary makes one small call to Anthropic to confirm the key works. If Anthropic refuses it, nothing is saved.

• The key is stored encrypted.
• It is never shown again. The screen shows only the last 4 characters.
• Only a workspace owner can add, replace or remove it.
• It is used only for model calls made for your workspace.

• The plan becomes Free with your key. Every feature is on, with no limit on repos, pages, help centers, languages or articles.
• No credits are spent. Generating docs, diagrams, cleanup and drafting a missing language are all free on Amendary’s side. Anthropic bills you for the model use.
• Apply automatically is available for each audience.
• There is no support SLA on this plan.
• You pay Anthropic for every call, including daily checks.

A bad, expired or out-of-credit key shows a warning in Settings. A team that has no paid plan then has its checks paused until you paste a working key or remove it. A team with an active subscription falls back to its paid plan.

1. To replace it, paste a new key in the same box and select Check and save.
2. To remove it, select Remove key. The team goes back to its trial or paid plan, with that plan’s limits and credits.
3. To cut access fully, delete the key in the Claude Console too.
