Intercom Articles integration
Amendary reads the Intercom articles you watch and their translations, in US, EU and Australia workspaces. It writes approved fixes to the article body and nothing else. Here is what to check before you connect.
- Connect
- Sign in with Intercom. US, EU and Australia workspaces.
- A fix lands as
- An edit to the live article body.
- Languages
- Every translation. A missing language is saved as a draft.
- Generate docs
- New articles in a collection you pick, saved as drafts.
What it reads
Your published articles and their translations. Browse lists published articles only. A draft made by Generate docs is watched for you. Collections are read to show the browse tree.
For each article you watch, Amendary reads the title and body and keeps a short list of what the article claims.
What shipped comes from the connection’s card, under Help articles follow: a GitHub repo, or each new entry on your public changelog.
What it changes
The body of the articles you watch, and nothing else. Titles and collections stay as they are.
A fix never changes whether an article or a language is published or a draft.
A missing language can be drafted for credits. It is saved as a draft. Your help center must have more than one language turned on. Amendary never publishes an article.
Permissions
Intercom shows what you allow before you agree: read and list articles, and read and write articles. Amendary cannot see conversations, contacts or any other part of Intercom.
Intercom access does not expire, so you sign in once. The token is stored encrypted. If you remove the Amendary app in Intercom, Intercom tells Amendary, and Amendary deletes the token and your help-center data.
How a fix lands
- Once a day, Amendary checks what shipped against the articles you watch.
- It drafts the fix for the source article, with the change as evidence. Then it fixes the same sentence in each translation. A language is marked Check it when a number, version, URL or name does not match.
- New teams start on Review first: every fix waits for you. On Apply automatically (paid plan or your own key), a fix still waits when it states a value the change does not back up, removes content, or adds new text.
- Before writing, Amendary reads the live article again. If someone changed it since, the fix is not written.
Undo and disconnect
Undo is in the Queue for 30 days. It writes the old text back, but only if nobody edited the article since.
A workspace owner can disconnect on the Pages tab. Amendary removes its app from your Intercom workspace, then deletes the connection, its watched articles and their fixes. Nothing in your articles changes. If another Amendary team uses the same Intercom workspace, the app stays installed for them.
Generate and cleanup
Generate docs writes new articles into a collection you pick, in your help center’s default language. Each one is saved as a draft by the person who signed in, and is then watched like any article. You publish it in Intercom.
Cleanup checks the articles you pick against your code and says which to keep, fix or retire, with the proof. It never edits an article.
Both spend credits, shown before the run. Diagrams and product updates are Notion only.
