Pageloop alternative for Notion and GitHub docs
Pageloop and Amendary solve the same problem for different places. Pageloop keeps help-center articles current on support platforms. Amendary keeps Notion pages and GitHub Markdown current. Facts about Pageloop below are as of October 2026, from their public pages.
What Pageloop does well
- It finds stale, incomplete and outdated help-center and knowledge-base content and proposes the update, including screenshots, for review in its editor.
- It watches many signals: merged GitHub pull requests, GitLab releases, Linear and Jira issues, Slack product-update channels, support tickets, PRDs and release notes.
- It publishes to established support platforms: Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk and Salesforce are on its integrations page, and it can host your docs on your own domain.
- Nothing goes live until you review and approve it, and content is versioned in Git.
Pick Pageloop if your help center lives in Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk or Salesforce, if support tickets and Slack are how your team learns what changed, or if you want screenshots handled along with the text.
Where Amendary differs
- Notion and GitHub as destinations. Amendary corrects Notion pages and Markdown files in a repo docs folder or wiki, which Pageloop does not write to. It does not host a docs site. See the Notion and GitHub integration pages.
- Engineering docs, not only customer articles. Runbooks, incident playbooks and internal guides are checked against landed commits on the default branch, per commit rather than per pull request. See runbooks and playbooks.
- An evidence and grounding gate. Every correction links the release or commit behind it. A version, path or URL the change does not back up, a removal the change does not mention, or an addition is held for a person even in auto mode. See Queue & reviews.
- Optional auto mode, with undo. Review is the default. On a paid plan an owner can let grounded corrections apply on their own, and any applied correction can be undone for 30 days after a conflict check, on every Notion plan.
- Flat pricing, published. A per-workspace subscription with the limits on the pricing page. Daily checks and corrections are never metered; only generating docs from scratch spends credits.
Side by side
- Destinations
Pageloop: Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk and Salesforce on its integrations page, or docs hosted by Pageloop on your domain. Notion and GitHub are not destinations.
Amendary: Notion pages, and Markdown in a GitHub repo docs folder or wiki.
- Change signals
Pageloop: Merged GitHub pull requests, GitLab releases, Linear and Jira issues, Slack product-update channels, support tickets, PRDs and release notes.
Amendary: Landed commits on the default branch for engineering docs; commits, a branch, GitHub Releases or tags (per repo) for help-center pages.
- Review model
Pageloop: Review and approve in its editor before anything goes live; content is versioned in Git.
Amendary: Review by default. On a paid plan an owner can turn on auto mode; ungrounded values, removals and additions are still held.
- Pricing published
Pageloop: No. Nothing on the pages we read.
Amendary: Yes, flat per workspace, on the pricing page.
- Hosting
Pageloop: Yes, optional: Pageloop can host your docs on your domain.
Amendary: None. Amendary edits the pages you already own and never hosts a docs site.
When not to pick Amendary
- Your help center is in Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk or Salesforce. Amendary does not write there; help-center publishing is on the roadmap, not available today.
- You want a hosted docs site. Amendary never hosts.
- Support tickets, Slack or Jira are your main change signal. Amendary works from what landed in GitHub.
- You need screenshots updated with the text.
What we did not check
We read the Pageloop homepage and integrations page. Earlier in 2026 its site also listed Document360, Help Scout, Pylon and Helpjuice as destinations; those were not on the integrations page we read in October, so confirm with Pageloop. We saw no prices and no named customers on the pages we read.
